Cait was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2004.  She was successfully treated with limb-salvage surgery and chemotherapy.

Now, after 15 months of remission, she relapsed with tumors in her lungs.

Seven different chemotherapy protocols were tried and none worked the way Cait's body needed it to.
